Has anyone gone to the maternity clothes resale shop Slightly Pregnant in Royal Oak. It is kind of a hike for me to go out there so I was wondering if you thought it would be worth the trip.
I've been there and I don't like the smell of it. It smells old and musty... and couldn't stay there very long. I found 1 thing there, They have a ton of pants and t-shirts, but I was looking for stuff for work or more trendy and that they do not have. I also tried to sell some stuff through them, but they don't want to give you much money for it, so I'm putting it on craigslist.
I wasn't a big fan of this store. They have racks and racks of clothes, but there is so much on every rack that it's almost impossible to push the clothes apart to get a look at anything. And if you pull it off the rack and try to put it back on, you can hardly squeeze it in. Their prices didn't seem great, either. I personally would skip it. I've been going on jcpenney and old navy's sites, and ordering pants/jeans/tops (search online for free shipping and discounts), and then you can return in store for jcpenney or send back to Old Navy with free shipping.
I found a few things there and plan to go back, but I live about 30 seconds from there. I wouldn't recommend driving from really far away. You would be disappointed.
