Cepacol throat spray - ok when pg?

I have a RAGING sore throat (went away and came back).  I told DH to get me Cepacol at the store (it's on my OB's safe list) and he got me the oral spray instead.

I'm guessing it's fine to use, but does anyone know for sure?  Being sick while prego SUX!!!!

I used the children's version when I was preg last time.  I am sure that I checked with the doctor.  Call the pharmacy and ask them.  They are good about that stuff.

safefetus.com is a good site to check out ther realative safety of a given drug or substance during pregnancy - although it advised against topical betamethasone and I used it anyway - my OB said it was ok.
