Does anyone have or is planning on using a small side table next to the rocking chair/glider? I don't have one, but I am thinking it might be nice to have a table like that to set things on while feeding the baby. Thoughts?
Our nursery is completely done except for a side table. Like you, we are putting it next to the glider. I cannot find one that I love that is less than $200 and I definately don't want to spend that much on it.

We plan on buying a lifetime bedroom set with a convertible crib & matching dressers. The set we are currently considering offers a nightstand, I plan on usign this now as a sidetable beside the rocker & then we have a complete set when its time to transition to a double bed! I also feel like its money well spent since it will be part of his or hers room for the future as well.

I am definitely getting one. I will probalby wait until the chair gets here just to be sure of what size I need, but the one I like the most is actually a bedside table from Target. I think you need one to keep some water and stuff for yourself while you are feeding, etc. I am also going to buy a little ipod and speakers to put there.

If we get a glider (which we will see if we get one from a shower or if we decide to buy one ourselves), I really want to get a side table. If we do get one, we will get it from Ikea.
I know it's ugly as sin, but the lid comes off and you can fill it up with stuff, so I'm going to have a good time changing the stuff inside. ?I think I'm going to start with baby shower rubber duckies from Oriental Trading Company.
If I ever get tired of it or decide it's too ugly for the room, it'll make a great table for parties...take the lid off to use as a tray, and fill the table with ice/drinks.?

I don't think it's ugly as sin! If that's what you like or fits in with your room then go for it

I'm searching now for the perfect night stand.
We'll probably end up going with one from Ikea.
