XP: Birth Control question

So I couldn't get my pills until Thursday and I was supposed to start taking them the previous Sunday....so 4 days late...I just started taking them like normal on Thursday (per advice from a friend)....Dumb I know.  So now I took my last pill this Wednesday night so I thought I would start on Thursday or Friday....Well it's Saturday night and I still haven't started.  Has this happened to anyone?  I took a pregnancy test on Tuesday because I was nervous.  It was negative.  Advice please!!   TIA

    sometimes it can take up to 3 or 4 days to start.....are you getting the period feeling? Head ache, cramps?

    I "thought" for sure I was going to start on Thursday....I felt crampy etc.  But then I didn't and now I don't really feel that period feeling anymore.

    I was told that it could take a pack or two of the pill before your body adjusts to it if you didn't do a same day as your period start. I hope that made sense.
