Our nursery does not have a ceiling light. I need to figure out what to do for lighting in the room.
1. Add a ceiling light (and maybe a fan?) I am not sure how difficult this would be. Any one have any good/bad experiences with installing a ceiling light?
2 . Lamps. Now here's my problem. I don't have a dresser to have a typical nursery lamp. (For furniture, we have an armoire and a changing table - no dressers, night stand, etc.) What should we do? Any one have any cute options for a floor lamp? I am thinking white.
Here's what we have thus far:

Re: Lighting ideas?
Super Cute Nursery!
I would install a celing fan with a light. We did ours but there was already an existing fixture and it was SUPER easy...it took 15 minutes. I am sure someone with even a little amount of electrical know how would be able to do it for you.
This one is cool.
I'm having the same issue!
Our nursery is not wired for overhead lighting at all either. Luckily my husband (along with his dad) know how to do this and are going to run the electric for whatever lighting we decide to do.
I kind of wanted to do a ceiling fan... but DH wants to do recessed lights... so we're trying to figure that out
I will still do a lamp on the side table, beside the rocker.
If you want some cheaper, easier options, you could always do paper lanterns.
Ikea has some inexpensive, white floor lamps.?
Our bedding is called Giggles by Trend Lab. My mom got it for us - it is available online at BRU but not in the store.
We don't have overhead lighting either and it annoys me to no end! Anyway- I am going to get a floor lamp. I'd like to get one that has the reading light on it as well as the main light at the top. I will also get either a table lamp for the dresser/changing table or I was thinking of a hanging light. Ikea has some neat ones to hange from the ceiling for cheap! Plus, it wouldn't be taking up space on the dresser or be in my way to change the baby.
Ceiling fans are great for circulating air, but if that isn't an option....Target has a cute tall white lamp.
