How long after you got married did you start TTC?

We've been married 3 years and 3 months, and we're starting to TTC next month.  We were together 5.5 years before we got married.

I got off the pill 2 years after but we didn't start actively trying till about 3 1/2 years after the wedding.

We have been married for 2 1/2 years and we are just now ttc.  I always heard that it takes about 2 years of marriage to really develop a strong foundation.  Plus we were kind of scared about the financial aspect of having kids, so we wanted to pay off some debt first.  Just enjoy this time with your husband, after you have kids alone time will be scarce

1 year...but now I wish we could had started ealier (maybe 6 months)...it's taking longer than I thought it would.
