#1 - I think you ladies will enjoy this one. We just hired a new receptionist and yesterday at lunch I got to talking to her. When she told me she had two children of her own, I asked her what their names were. She replied, "Abercrombie and Sterling." They are both boys.
#2 - I added more names to my names list and reset the votes, so tell me what you think!
Re: Two Things
lmfao! If she was gonna go that route, "Fitch" would have been cuter.
Most awesomely bad name at my high school:
Bonjovianna. That's right. Bon Jovi Anna.
It's the French version of Violet, pronounced "Vee-Oh-Let."
I knew a Sterling in college. I always thought the name sounded pompous (and, unfortunately, it fit the person).
I also knew an Abercrombie... but it was a horse! And a mare at that.
Ah, well if it is pronounced differently, that makes sense. Although, knowing that, I might steer clear of it, because I imagine it will still be misspelled a lot! (or have to be spelled a lot). But if that is not a big deal to you, it is a very pretty name.
The spelling doesn't really bother me, it's the pronunciation more or less. I mean, it's really not pronounced like "Violet" and I think it would irk me to have to repeatedly correct people on how to properly say her name. Either way, it's staying on my list
*gasp*
Poor kids. I hope they have a normal middle name to go by! ?
omg, those poor boys.
I still like Vivienne Kate the best. I also like Iris.
