There really isn't a point to this one . . . just a vent/comment. Our nanny is on her honeymoon this week (soooo jealous!) so we've shipped B&K various places for coverage. They were up with the grandparents for 5 (FIVE!!) glorious nights and they came back on Wed., I hung out with them yesterday and we've made arrangements to borrow a friend's nanny today & Monday (thanks aleeandbry!!).
So the "other" nanny has watched them before -- she's super-duper awesome, really nice, LOTS of expereince. She comes in this morning and I'm going through everything with her and Kendyll starts to freak out. B&K were eating breakfast and she just starts to openly sob - big girl tears streaming down her face, trying to catch her breath, putting her hands up in the air for me to pick her up. I'm a little taken aback -- Miss Diva is our independent one. Why would she pick today of all days to grow some separation anxiety??? I felt horrible for leaving her and even worse for leaving the poor nice nanny with a sceaming kid. Ugh.
It is 10:00am where I am and I need a drink already!
Re: Why today?!?
awwww, poor thing...hopefully she has forgotten all about it and will just be so thrilled to see you when you get home!
I think we should have that drink...it would make my day a little less stressful too!
