lightweight stroller

Any recs for a lightweight stroller (more than just an umbrella stroller)....that fully reclines?? My mom wants to get one to keep at her house. We liked the Combi stroller, but then my decided against it b/c the foot rest didn't come up (which I didn't think was a big deal!). Thanks!

Re: lightweight stroller

  • I don't know if these "fully" recline, but they are all good, lightweight options: ?City Mini by Baby Jogger, UppaBaby G-luxe, and Maclaren Quest.

  • I did a TON of research on umbrellas when we took a trip this past summer. Recline was a BIG point with me, more so than weight, because I knew the baby would be napping in there. The Maclaren Quest mentioned above fit the bill. I was going to get a Chico Capri and then a a Maclaren Triumph, but the Quest had a 4 point recline and was light weight, folds easily, carrying handle and case, and the extendable foot rest is a great addition. It also has an adjustable sun shade which comes in VERY handy! I originally wanted the UppaBaby because I saw it in a magazine as being like 8 lbs but it doesn't recline and the sun shade was not adjustable. The Quest like all umbrellas doesn't recline as well as full size, but every little bit helps.
  • we bought the Combi stoller travel system in the cranberry ..We love it..?
