YAY! First birthday party booked!

We are planning a rather large birthday party for DS. Some may think we're crazy, but he was born at 24 weeks and was in the hospital for 4 months. Not to mention his birthday is 3/23 and 4/1 is the end of RSV season and a long Winter indoors!!!

We are planning his party for 4/4/09 and since most of our families have not even MET him yet since he was stuck indoors basically since he came home our guest list (with just immediate family and very close friends) is at 60!

Obviously our house is not large enough to accomodate this size get together so we were thinking about renting an Elks Hall or something. I decided on a whim to send a message through Facebook to a friend's friend who owns a B&B here in town and she has decided to rent me the entire Inn for the day and is even letting us spend the night.

It is a gorgeous place on the bluffs of a beach near our house and is 5500 sq ft. Plenty of space for everyone AND she is only going to charge me what the ELKS was going to charge me. I am so excited!!! Okay, this got long and I am sorry, but I am very happy about this and the fact that the end of RSV season is right around the corner and Jacob was not sick all Winter!!

Congratulations! Sounds like you'll need a good photographer to capture all those wonderful family moments!

He definitely deserves a BIG celebration after all he has accomplished in just one year!  Sounds like a blast!
