Pic request - nurseries where all of the woods don't match

Our baby furniture is a light wood colour. The rocking chair (a family heirloom) is a bit darker. We are painting the furniture green, but we might also end up with some white pieces.

Is this going to look totally stupid? Does anyone have any pictures where all of the nursery furniture DOESN'T match? If so, please share

As you can see, our crib and changing table are light wood, the rocker (my great aunt's) is a dark wood, the dresser is blue, the toy box red and the woodwork is white. I think it all works together cause there are so many colors in our bedding and they are bright colors. We like it.

Also...love the red and blue nursery! And the un-matching woods actually look great together...I'm relieved! My husband really wants the old rocking chair, and I'd rather not paint something that's been in the family for so long!

we have a white crib and then painted a bookshelf and dresser chocolate brown. I saw recently a dark espresso crib with bright green furniture and it was really cute! i am sure yours will look great too. I have pics of ours in my blog- on the right side you can click nursery and see the pics. it is not complete yet but almost.
