Femara/Letrozole

has anyone used letrozole? if so i am curious about the success rate for conception. I had my first round this month and tomorrow will be going to an ultrasound to se if I am ovulating. Please let me know any info!!

I did it for 2 cycles and had a great follie each time.  It didn't work for us but we have MFI too.  I liked that I had no s/e.  Since its not technically FDA approved for IF, there are not a whole lot of studies on the success rates though.  You might want to try on Success after IF board as they might tell you more about whether they conceived on it.

I took it for several cycles and did not get preg on it.  I later found I had endo though so not sure if that interfered.  I did have a lot of acne and abnormal bleeding but again it could be the endo.   I hope it works for you!

I started it last night, but this is my first cycle of it after 4 failed Clomid cycles that thinned my CM pretty badly.  I'm hoping I'll have less s/e on Femara.  My RE said he's had pretty good success with it for people who didn't respond to Clomid.

i was on femara for 2 cycles... it successfully produced 1 good follie for me each time, though we were hoping for 2-3.  the first cycle i got a BFN and the 2nd time was the charm it had no effect whatsoever on my CM and actually helped make my lining thicker

I was afraid of the side affects but I ended up just feeling a little drowsy while i was on it- otherwise I felt pretty good.
