This is New Salem (ND) Sue.  I think she's the biggest holstein in the US.  My grandma lived in this little town and getting to go see Sue was such a treat when I was little!

hahahah!! that's what the cow looked like, though, admittedly, smaller.

 

but still, not what you expect to see riding on the way home!  i wish charlie had been big enough to point it out to!
