I'm tired of wasting the bread and PB. Today's lunch was PB&J with a slice of cheese and a yogurt. Whenever she gets PB&J, she just opens the bread and eats the jelly off. Nothing else.
I give my DD straight peanut butter with a spoon (natural, so it isn't a choking hazard). We don't do jelly yet, but I will give her pureed or sliced strawberries, blueberries, or bananas.
Yeah, she eats those, too. I don't puree them though. She must be older than your DD. she won't even let me slice the banana anymore. She prefers to hold it like I do. I bought her blueberries last night at Kroger, so we'll try those tonight or tomorrow.
And grapes. I have to fight withher to let me cut them up.
Yeah, she's had PB on crackers and PB on apples. That's how I eat an apple a day w/ protein, I put PB on it. She actually just licks the PB off and may or may not eat the apple. She had the Smucker's natural PB, creamy PB, and crunchy PB, so she lieks all kinds.
Re: From here on out, I'm just gong to give blaire a bowl of jelly for lunch.

No point in wasting effort.

Will she eat PB other times? My DS will not TOUCH peanut butter. Jelly is touch and go, but PB never happens
I just need to understand how in the world a child doesn't like peanut butter and jelly - it is a STAPLE of childhood, right?
