Any teachers?

Does anyone teach the younger grades?  I teach first grade and I'm so tired I could cry.  They need me so much and I don't have the energy to do what they need.  All I want to do is be at home.  My head hurts and tylenol just doesn't cut it.  I'm so worried about getting through the end of the year.  I feel so bad about not being th eteacher I can be too.  Is anyone else going throught this?  Any advice?

No advice, but GL.  I know how much it hurts to not live up to your expectations for yourself just because you're so tired.

I know how you feel. I teach special education K-6th grade and there are many days that I am completely out of it I am so tired. I have found that I plan everything in advance by at least a week. I always over plan as well so if there is a day where I come in and can't function like I would like to I have lessons ready for the kids that don't require me to be all over the room. This is my first year teaching and i know how it feels to want to do so much and just can't.
