Preparing formula???

I bought the Similac Advanced powder formula yesterday, since the liquid formula would deplete my 401k in 2 weeks.  Anyway, I feed DD 2.5 ounces.  The can gives directions for a 2 oz bottle, then a 4 oz, bottle, etc... etc...  This may sound like an EXTREMELY stupid question, and I'm sorry about that, but if a 2 oz bottle calls for a level scoop of formula how much of a scoop of formula should I put in for a 2.5 oz bottle?

when you increase to 3 oz per feeding, it's 1 1/2 scoops. ??
