Finding his wee-wee?

So when do little boys typically find they have the family jewels down there and start playing with them?  Cameron started tugging on his junk during bath time tonight and I couldn't help but laugh like a silly school girl the whole time.  Evan is just too busy kicking all the water out of the tub to notice anything else.

I can't remember when it started maybe around 6-8 months?  The only time it isn't cute is when you are tyring to change a dirty diaper.

yup - somewhere b/w 8-10 mos. I still crack up!!

I can't say for sure when it started, but once it starts it never stops!

 

Sawyer puts his hand over his diaper when I'm getting ready to change him so that he can grab the pickle as soon as the diaper is out of the way. Then I have to pry his little fingers off to re-diaper him.

 

I'm laughing now at how embarassing he will find it in later years that his mom discussed his love for his pig on the internet

As part of our bed time routine, we do 'naked time' and let the boys air it all out for about 20  minutes before we toss them in the tub.  Last night, Sam was pulling at the skin around that area and occasionally would grab his jewels.  I immediately thought of a friend of mine who has a son and when he was around 6-7 months old, he discovered his and would pull on it so hard, would cry, and then would do it again, not realizing that it was hurting him!

I'm cracking up at this post.  These are the things that are so foreign to me with having a girl.  Better get used to it!

Wait until they discover each others'! At about 15 months, both boys were naked & found their stuff. They did everything they could to get a better look; sit down, almost do a headstand, bend down & check out the other guy. It was hilarous, I really wish I had the video camera!!
