Pottery Barn Easter basket

WOW! I received mine today. I must say... I should have ordered the small. The large one is H.U.G.E!!! It is the nicest basket ever though. Definitely worth the money. {even though I had a gift card!}  And the liner is absolutely adorable. But, the size is so big. My 27lb. 16 month old could sit in it and be swallowed! :-)

Sounds like you'll have the quite the task of filling it for Easter morning! haha?

  • I remember that from last year. The small is still pretty big. Inara at 20 pounds can sit in the small one.

If you are ordering don't forget the 68 trick. It brings down the small basket to $11.99 and some liners to $5.99

  • Well, my parents are coming in town for Easter and it is *their* task of filling the basket! Yes My mom wanted to do that, and I said, "sure"! :-)

    can you explain this?!

  • Yes, Canada - I remember you posting this a while back and I thought I saved it. Wrong.

Sounds like a LOT could be saved this way.

And Angie - thanks for the PSA - now I won't have to justify the large one.

I'm hitting the outlets soon hoping they have more cute easter stuff too.

  • Sure.

I found the baskets a few days when I was fooling around with the Easter chairbacker. It is now on Slick Deals so they will go fast.

When you are on the PBK website and find something you want. Add it to your cart. Go to your cart, copy the SKU  (found under the description), paste into the search box and take out the numbers before the dash. Then add 68 before the dash and hit enter. Sometimes a cheaper price will pop up. For example the white small Sabrina Easter Basket is regular $24.00 with the SKU #21-4165288, with the SKU #68-4165288 it is now $11.99.

Some of the liners are $5.99 with that trick.

PBK says it is not really a "trick" as 68 is the beginning part of the SKU number for their unadvertised specials.

Each week PBK has unadvertised specials that you can

only get when you call in. They are updated Tuesday or Thursday of each week (I forget which day). However,

one week I called, got the specials and still found items using the 68 trick that

were not part of the unadvertised specials. So it doesn't hurt to try.
