Babies: 9 - 12 Months

she doesn't get her jumperoo!!

My daughter will be 6 months old on Friday and she still doesn't jump in her jumperoo!  She'll stand there and play with toys and get on her tippy toes to reach for the bird, but she's not even remotely close to jumping.  Anyone else?  I know jumping's not a milestone (haha), but i want her to enjoy it!!

  • DD didn't start jumping in hers until the past couple of weeks.

  • DD just got the hang of it this past week...it is hilarious!
  • It takes a while...just keep putting her in it and she will eventually figure it out.
  • lol jumping is a milestone - but not until 2 i think :)

maybe bounce her a bit and see if she "gets" it after you do?

Larsen just started bouncing a bit the other day, but not what I would consider "jumping" ?Try putting her in it more often and bouncing her a bit.

  • My baby is the same way - he has this blank look on his face ?(ooh, I'm going to PIP since I just learned how to do that last week!) ?and doesn't get how to jump even when I show him how to. ?I'll turn the music on and he just starts screaming!! I keep putting him in there because I'm hoping eventually he'll like it!
