Month vs week question...

So, I'm 22 weeks.  How many 'months' do you say you are since when people ask you how far along you are and you say "22weeks" they look at you like you have 3 heads!!

Sorry if this is a dumb question- but I have seen it posted here before and never paid attention. Flame if you will......

I get all flustered and forget and then have to do that math. LOL! I usually look at DH and go "How many months am I?"

I generally take my due date and count backwards.  I am due August 15th, so on March 15th, I will be four months.  Hope that helps.

 I would say you are in your 6th month, as pregnancy takes a FULL 9 months.

I just do a little math in my head before-hand.  For example, I'm now 20 weeks; 20 divided by four (generally four weeks in a month) is five.

At 22 weeks I'll say I'm five-and-a-half months pregnant.
