Bradley Method Classes?

Hi all you lucky new moms, I need your help!

I am considering doing a Bradley Method class for my birthing classes and was wondering if anyone on here did them and what you thought of them?  It's pretty expensive and time consuming, so I wanted some real world feedback from someone who went through it and then birth.  Any feedback would be very appreciated!  TIA!

Re: Bradley Method Classes?

  • I loved my Bradley Classes and did it through a local certified mom. Go on the bradley website to find a teacher in your area. DH and I both learned a ton in class and it was a great way for us to bond before the baby.

  • We really enjoyed our Bradley classes and had a great birth experience.  I highly recommend them.  You might be able to find a teacher that does an 8 week series instead of 12.  GL

  • I highly recommend the bradley method.  However i read the book and my husband read husband coached childbirth the bradley way and thats all we did to prepare and things went great.  I am glad to have gone med free but reading the books was all it took for us and we both had the mindset of the bradley method and did it great.
  • Worth every penny! I loved my classes and had an amazing birth! I felt very prepared and gave birth to a big healthy bradley baby:)

  • Yay!  Thank you so much for the info ladies.  I'm glad to hear you all had a positive experience-I just wanted to make sure before I committed to anything.
