If you have a Quinny...

is it worth the money? I've seen them tons of times but I don't understand why they are so expensive. So, no snark intended, what's the big selling point on these strollers? I know of someone selling them on craigslist for $350 which I still thought was expensive for a stroller but seems like a great price for something that is $500+

Re: If you have a Quinny...

  • I have a Buzz and I personally think it was worth the price tag.  However, I did get a job at Right Start while I was pregnant for the discount ; )

The selling point for us was ease of folding and unfolding, being able to take the chair out and put the infant seat in the frame, being able to put a bassinet in, the seat can face you or out, not that heavy when compared to other full size strollers, and I really just liked the look of it. Also, it steers incredibly well, turns on a dime, and is very durable.  I have several friends who had to buy a new travel system with each kid because they don't last that long.  I plan to use this with as many kids as we end up having, and I'm positive it will last through them all.

     So, those were *my* reasons.

  • Would it be something you would use in place of a jogging stroller?

  • I could be wrong but I don't think it could be used instead of a jogging stroller...too high??

  • No, not for jogging, but great for long walks.
