They actually had me empty my bladder after a few minutes when they weren't getting the best measurements. I was told that sometimes peeing makes the baby move?and it did.
I'd call the office/facility where you're having yours and ask what their procedure is.
nope, they made sure I had an empty bladder, but like Robynlesley said, check w/ the office before, you can get a head start if they want a full bladder for you... GL!

Yes, but then the Dr. had me go pee anyway, he was poking away on top of my bladder trying to get baby to move and I thought I was going to pee on the table!
