Charlotte's baptism is on Sat and we're doing a joint one with her cousin so there's going to be 40+ people there. I need to order a cake and I was just going to use Kroger's, but thought you gals may have some other ideas for a yummy, pretty cake that's not too pricey. TIA! (oh, and I'm in nky)
Re: where to order cake?
I love, love, love Servatti's cakes but you can go a bit crazy with them. I typically give them the invites & they make the cake look similar to the invite, I also love their raspberry filling so I always get that added & that can get pricey. Other than Servatti's I think Kroger & Sams Club cakes are really good.

I personally would not suggest Kroger, I think they are way overpriced for their cakes, and they screwed our Baptism cake up! I asked for all white with some pink, and this is what the gave us! WTH is the green!? I was also mad that they had so much open space. Now maybe all Kroger's aren't as bad, but I have had bad experiences with 2 different stores!
Not something I would pay $40 for!!!

You should try busken. ?We always get our cakes there for family birthdays, graduations, etc...
They are always tasty and you can have them shipped to any remke in the area for easy pick up. ??
I ordered a Buskens cake recently and the frosting tasted like crisco
I agree with the pp on going with Sam's- cheap and yummy!!!!?
