lunges, or if you go to a gym and they have a cable cross over machine, I put one of the cables to the bottom and then they have a cuff that goes around your ankle and you can do kickbacks and to the side. If you don't have access to a cable machine, then get on all fours and hold your leg out straight and do leg raises and then with your knee bent, foot parallel to the ceiling.
