Colace should help. Get the 50mg kind and follow the instruction on the back (I usually just take 1-2 per day). It's not a laxative, just a stool softener.
my saviour has been FiberSure. It's the tasteless powder suppliment that I put in my water, cereal, etc. It takes a day or so to work...but it keeps things moving!

You can take a stool softener but DO NOT take a laxative unless you absolutely have to! I was to the point where I had to take one at like 18 weeks and I was told to go ahead because nothing was getting it to budge.. well I ended up nearly dehydrated so don't go that route! Drink water.. eat fruit.. and take a stool softener and hopefully you can go!

My doctor told me to take Colace and it's been a life saver! Walgreens makes a generic brand that is way less expensive. Also, be sure to drink plenty of water. That helps to keep things moving!

Mama Jan's Kitchen... a food blog
Ditto.
Dried fruit and bran works well, too.
Colace, coffee, or ('cause I'm mildly lactose intolerant, so this may not work for you) two big glasses of milk.

Yep, it works... and it's safe.
Here's what I do everyday:
2 prunes in the morning
as much water as I can stomach during the day
2-3 Benefiber chewables at night
If I get really bound up, I use a glyceryn supposatory- not pleasant but very effective.?
?
That works very well for me- GL! (it does take a few days to go into effect though)
And eat lots and lots of fruit!?
Ditto!
And drown yourself in water!!! It's all for the better.?
