Re: Way TMI but I need help

  • I take citracul, it helps and it's safe.

  • Eat as much fruit as you can handle; this is the all natual method Big Smile Tomorrow you wont have a probalem anymore; (& veggies with FIBER)
  • Colace should help.  Get the 50mg kind and follow the instruction on the back (I usually just take 1-2 per day).  It's not a laxative, just a stool softener.

    Ditto.

Dried fruit and bran works well, too.

  • Colace, coffee, or ('cause I'm mildly lactose intolerant, so this may not work for you) two big glasses of milk.

  • my saviour has been FiberSure. It's the tasteless powder suppliment that I put in my water, cereal, etc. It takes a day or so to work...but it keeps things moving!

  • I take Colace, recommended by the dr, and it works.  I actually take the metamucil caplets everyday now and those work great.  Good luck!
  • Drinking apple juice (Simply Apple is THE BEST!) helps me out.
  • You can take a stool softener but DO NOT take a laxative unless you absolutely have to! I was to the point where I had to take one at like 18 weeks and I was told to go ahead because nothing was getting it to budge.. well I ended up nearly dehydrated so don't go that route! Drink water.. eat fruit.. and take a stool softener and hopefully you can go!

Yep, it works... and it's safe.

  • What about Kashi cereal? that always works for me! GL

  • Colace.  Also - Raisin bran cereal and some coffee seems to help too!
  • I love dried apricots as well as prunes.

  • My OB said Colace 100 mgs max 3 times a day- and tums is ok too-feel better
  • they have those yogurts now that regulate your Bm's and also 2 fiber pills a day.

  • Here's what I do everyday:

    2 prunes in the morning

as much water as I can stomach during the day

    2-3 Benefiber chewables at night

If I get really bound up, I use a glyceryn supposatory- not pleasant but very effective.?

    ?

That works very well for me- GL! (it does take a few days to go into effect though)

And eat lots and lots of fruit!?

  • I ate pita and hummus everyday for lunch and that sure did the trick!

  • Miralax, it's a mild stool softener that's meant to be taken every day.  It disolves in anything and is tastelss...it has seriously been my savior
  • My doctor told me to take Colace and it's been a life saver!  Walgreens makes a generic brand that is way less expensive.  Also, be sure to drink plenty of water.  That helps to keep things moving!
  • Prunes, baby. ?Oh, and this is not TMI, this is pregnancy!
