Hi there! I had my appointment with the Maternal Fetal Med group at RO Beaumont today. It was looooooooooong.

 I got taken back right away, but then waited for 40 minutes to be seen. I was totally annoyed, but they made up for it when the did an u/s. I was so excited to see that everything was okay, that I forgot how irritated I was. LOL!

Other than that, they just talked over with me, a bunch of stuff I already knew and I didn't really see the value in the appmt, but I guess they can bill the insurance so they are happy.

Hi!  Sounds like your appointment went pretty much the same way mine did when I went.  At least it's done and over with and you don't have to go back   And you got an u/s out of it!  Was that your first u/s?

I know, I'm glad it's done.  It was actually my 2nd u/s. I had one at 7 weeks also.  It's gonna be a long wait until that 18-20 week u/s.

Were you skipping the NT Scan?  LOL- how sad is this.  The OB I saw typically doesn't do an u/s until 20 weeks.  I couldn't wait that long, so I had the NT Scan done just so I could have an u/s   I"m glad I did it too!  My little guy was so stubborn that I never got a great shot of him after.  I had to come in on 3 seperate occassions for my "big" u/s so they could get all the measurements they needed.
