Yay! Another baby means more bday parties!

I am spending my snow day planning DS's 3rd birthday party. I live for this stuff, girls! I just got *so* excited thinking about planning more parties for the second baby. For me, it's really a fun part of being a mom.

Yeah I can't wait to plan themed b'day parties... SO MUCH FUN!  I get super into parties too, and having a theme makes it so much better!  What are you doing for DS's 3rd??

Haha! I totally agree with you- I just had DD's 1st b-day party on Saturday and I got way into party-planning! I even went as far as to make three types of homemade ice cream...in retrospect probably a bit of overkill for a 1 year old's party, but I just couldn't  help myself!

I look forward to planning baby #2's birthday. however, planning Rebecca's is hard. She was born in December and we're in Michigan. So the party has to be indoors. Even with just IMMEDIATE family, it's about 20 people. She'll be 3 this year so that means we'll probably have some kids at the party too. Which means their parents will need to be there.

Where am I going to FIT all of these PEOPLE!?

I'm like that too.  I really look forward to stuff like that and want to make our birthday parties really special and unique (not the same old,pre fab food and stuff everyone seems to do these days).  I've been thinking about this lately only b/c my mom had a Valentine's day part at her preschool and everything single treat sent in came out of a box from Kroger or Publix. It just seemed so sad to me that no one puts in the time and effort to make homemade stuff like that (not to mention the scary crap that's IN that store bought stuff).

Oh, I know!  I love planning, too.  I am in the midst of planning a baby shower for my friend, and then the next month is my dd's 3rd birthday!

Planning parties is one of the things I am so looking forward to once my DC is here. I too like to plan parties, pick out themes, decorate the house, and want to make birthdays special in our household.
