Stupid local school boards/weathermen/etc

School was cancelled for today.  Cancelled due to a THREAT of snow.  We got nothing.  Rather than start with a simple two hour delay they cancel everything.  It's sunny and nice outside today.  But now I have a toddler whining, "Wanna go school mommy!"  And I will be late for work because I have to wait on my MIL to get here later to watch Will.  Ugh.  They did this a month or so ago, same exact thing.  So, so, so annoying.

They totally missed that one, didn't they?!   I can't believe they closed everything down so early.

I can't believe they did it again after the hell they got the first time.

Seriously!   I just can't believe we didn't get any snow at all.  It seems like it all stayed just north of us.

They did that about a month or so ago for us, and it was totally out of character for the school district. We did get dumped on later that day though. It started out just gray and dry, but by 11am, it started snowing real bad. The University I work for even got closed. I think we got somewhere around 7" that day.
