has anyone does this or doing it? i definitely want to do it after i have the baby but im not sure if i could start it now. i have a friend who is doing it and loves it. it seems to have all the right nutrients, etc. what do you think?
While I've never tried it, I would imagine that since it is "prepackaged" that there are a lot of preservatives which my doc likes me to avoid. I would talk to your doc and see what he/she thinks.

I do believe that nutrisystem itself will tell you not to do their plan while pregnant. Therefore I think you shouldn't. most diet plans are not designed for pg or nursing moms. And yes this is a diet plan.
I would totally suggest doing it when you're not pg. I did it a few summers ago and enjoyed most of the food and lost about 10lbs a month. The key is to figure out what you like (because some of it is downright gross) and then buy only those foods.
Oh, and a lot of people don't realize that the food they sell you is only a small portion of the meal plan. You have to do a lot of shopping and preparation besides the things you buy. If you think that you just eat what you buy and that it will be easy because of that, it isn't for you.
As tempting as it seems to do the program I think you should wait on it. Or at least ask you doctor first. I don't know it doesn't seem safe. But if your doc says ok then I guess it is fine!
I think that, like most weight-loss systems, nutrisystem "works" because it restricts your calories. ?Which you can't do safely while pregnant. ?So I'd wait.
