Anyone familiar with millbury or auburn area?

My DH just got a job offer in ct and we are looking to possibky live in one of these towns. Can anyone tell me anything about them? Safe, good place to raise a family, things to do! thanks:)

I live in Spencer just a town or two away. This is a nice area. Small area....Safe and nice place to raise a family and only about an hour from Boston...You can always find things to do What town will he be working in?

I would check out douglas, ma or grafton, ma (just next to millbury)... i live the next town over from grafton and I love living here.  It is quiet and perfect to raise a family.

i used to own a home in Millbury.  I loved it.  We just moved a year ago to Holden, only because we bought a bigger house.  Millbury was a nice place to live though.  I have friends that live in Auburn. They love it as well.  I may be a little biased, i've lived around here my whole life.
