For a small nursery

Would you use an upholstered rocker or a wooden glider?I have both of them on my registry and can't decide. The upholstered one is on the smaller side, but the style is definitely more bulky than a wooden one.

How small is small?  I have a room that is about 10.5 X 12 and while the upholstered glider will fit, it is going to be cramped....however I just like the look and the portability of it so much more ( I would never move one of the wooden gliders into another room later but I would use the uphostered one later) I feel it is worth the space.  Also we are only using our nursery as a nursery....once the baby is older, we will move her into a much bigger room down the hall so I don't feel like we need much space other than for nursing, changing, sleeping.  If it will physically fit, I think you go with the one you like most.

Our nursery is 10x10. It is not overloaded with furniture and still has a decent amount of space to add a rocker or glider. Were also going to move the little one to a slightly larger room once he gets older.

I'm not sure why i'm so confused, lol. I just keep going back and forth between the two. I think part of it is that the rocker is only online and the  glider is in the store where it is much more likely to be purchased.

i would find out the dimensions, then put masking tape on the floor to show how big it would be.  live with the tape for a few days, walking around it when you are in the room.  if it doesn't feel too tight, i would go for the upholstered one since it sounds like you prefer it.

I also have a small nursery. About 10x10. I have just enough space for a Shermag glider in the corner. I had originally wanted one of the big oversized chairs but after trying them out, it wasn't very comfortable.?
