I concur with the "fvcker" comment in regards to Tucker. It is a guarantee that is going to come up some time in their school years, probably not in a flattering way either. Not to mention the "penis between the legs" idea. Yikes.

I have to agree with most of the PP. I am not a fan on Tenley and Tucker is a recipe for disaster later in life. Piper is VERY cute however. good luck.
I like Tucker James and Piper... Tenley is nms. Tucker will get rhymed in an unpleasant way, but I still like it. I like Tuck and T.J. as nicknames. Where does Tenley come from/ what does it mean? Perhaps you could switch it to Piper Tenley?
I know a grown man named Tucker. He has an amazing sense of humor and he said it came from having a name like Tucker- that he had to be quick-witted and funny so he could go on the offensive befroe someone made fun of his name. So that's coming from someone who lived with the name.
I happen to like the name Tenley. It's different but not "weird". It's just not clear if it's a boy's name or girls' name so people may not know just from reading the name on paper. It just depends on whether you care about that or not.
3 IUI's and 2 IVF's later- Brady arrived. Born at 36 weeks after PUPPS and pre-e/HELLP.
IUI- BFN IVF #1 -BFP! Allie is our 2nd IVF baby. Born at 36 1/2 weeks after pre-e again
Girl: Tenley Piper - I'm not sure what Tenleyis or where it comes from, but I don't like it. I'm not a big fan of Piper, but it's okay in the MN slot if paired with a legit name.
Boy: Tucker James - I've never liked Tucker because of the "tuck" part and always relating that to a drag queen. James is a nice, solid middle name.

Agreed! And even though I don't know any Tuckers, I'm not surprised to hear that one in real life had to be quick-witted to go on the offensive if/when necessary.
Thanks for all ya'lls opinions. I seem to gather no one likes Tenley but thats ok. I love it. A girl I used to fly with in college was named Tenley and I loved it from day 1. She said she'd only met one other person in her life with that name which is something else I like...it's unique. I've tried to look for the 'meaning' or 'orgin' but can't find the name anywhere. Piper is after the aircraft because both me and my man are aviation junkies. Tucker I have loved for a long time. I like the short names too, either TJ or Tuck but prefer Tuck. As far as ryming with Fvck and all the teasing to do with Tuck I really don't care. Everyone when their young gets teased by someone for something. Breathe in, breathe out and move on - The great Jimmy Buffett. James is my mans first name and also my grandfather's first name...they are both pilots and my grandfather is legendary for his contributions to aviation history so it was important to the both of us to have James in the name.

Cool. Thanks for sharing that. I think that's an awesome attitude to have!
Tucker has always been one of my favorite boy names, and I think Tenley Piper is cute. I think I read a book once by Mary Higgins Clark, and the main character was Tenley.
I also like the names Tenley and Piper... just not together. Maybe you could use either Tenley or Piper with a traditional feminine name (In a similar style to your boys name).
Re: Just decided...
I love Tucker James and I love the name Piper...Tenley, not so much. It looks made up.
This exactly.
Tenley sounds like a tea company. Piper is cute.

Love Tucker. Agree with the teasing that name will get, but honestly, most names have some way kids can tease. I still like it.
Not a fan of Tenley. Does it have a special meaning? I think Kenley is cute, though!

Sadly, I liked Tucker until I read this.
