Any IUI #2 success stories?

I'm 14dpIUI today (first one) and BFN. Temp also dropped bigtime, so I'm sure it's over. I took clomid this time but it thinned my lining a lot, so I knew my chances were less. Now we'll be doing a gonal-F injectable IUI cycle. But I can't help but feel like well if it didn't work once, why should it work this time?

Anyone have a BFP with IUI #2?

I got pregnant on my second IUI with this pregnancy. Just because this one didnt work doesnt mean the next one wont. My RE tries 3 IUIs before even talking about something else because you need to give it a chance to work. Good luck!!

We did 4 IUI's but I got pregnant on the 2nd injectables/IUI cycle.

This pregnancy is from IUI#2 (or 3 since we did B2B) for us.  We did everything the same except adding the B2B -- Clomid (same dose) and HCG trigger.  Each cycle has it's own chance of success... so until you have repeat negatives you can't say it's not going to work.

the twins were the 2nd cycle of clomid 100mg, metformin, IUI + trigger.  But it did not thin my lining. My doc does 3 cycles of clomid then moves to injectables- but if you know the clomid is effecting the lining- maybe injectables is better for you? i don't know... never had to go there.

Every pregnancy I've had has been on the second try. I tried the Follistim, and I don't recommend it if you can produce eggs with clomid, because of the great chance of multiples. (I tried this on my second pregnancy, and it didn't end well). Are you on progesterone suppositories? This should help with the lining. Also, extra folic acid helps a lot, too. Good luck, and don't give up!
