MIL= Weird?

Soo, mil sends me some pictures she took of DD.  In one of the pictures, she has DD dressed in clothes I've never seen before....  Is it weird that MIL is dressing DD in her own clothes she buys for DD and keeps them over at her house?  I mean, it's fine, but it's like she changes DD before we come to pick her up after work or something so I won't know??  They weren't ugly or anything in the picture, but...I dunno...I pack a whole crapload of clothes for DD for the day when she stays over there, so it's not like she needs more clothes.

I almost feel like she thinks DD is her own DD.  I dunno, I guess you have to know my MIL to understand why I am kinda weirded out by this....I like things done my way when it comes to DD and its like my MIL is sneaking around behind my back.  I can't wait till DD talks so she can tell me what my weird MIL says and does with her while we are at work.

yes, a little weird, but dressing her up and treating her as her own is not such a bad thing...

Maybe your MIL likes to play dress up with her...or likes to spoil her in the clothes she buys for your DD. I don't think it is weird...but up to you what battles you pick.

I do think it is weird. I would be ok with MIL buying clothes for DD but why not give them home with her then. Why have clothes that she only wears at her house. Sorry but it would make me uncomfortable too.?

She probably like shopping for cute little clothes and can't wait to get her DGD so she can play dress up!  I LOVE buying little girl stuff!  *GOD PLEASE SEND US A LITTLE GIRL THIS TIME*
