I am seriously freaking out about this ureaplasma, and the medicine that is category D and not allowed for pregnany women.

I know I am crazy. But I am wondering if I call my OB on Monday if I can schedule a blood test? I need to go back anyway, to have my clotting factors re-checked, as I was "borderline" a few months ago and she wanted to restest after the new year...

 

I think I would be around 9 or 10 DPO on Monday. (FF and I are not in agreement on the actual O day)

    I think at 9 or 10dpo, a blood test would be able to detect pregnancy. 

    And you are not crazy!

    I think a blood test tells before a Urine test does.  Did you look online for the Ureaplasma thing.  Can it hurt waiting 2 days to take the  antibiotics.  Did you have any symptoms leading up to them finding that?

    A blood test should be able to tell a few days after implantation. I would think 9-10 dpo for sure. Good luck with the doctor!

    Well, I had gone to the specialist originally because I had been having symptoms, but I had also been having problems with a different bacteria. I was treated for the ureaplasma back in September just before I had the MC. I have been retested for the Ureaplasma every month since then as the other bacteria (gardnerella) would not go away. I am pretty sure the ureaplasma has only been an issue for me for the past month or something. My symptoms aren't really an issue right now. But ureaplasma doesnt always cause symptoms. I got these cultures done about10 days ago, so I can't imagine, since they just came back, that it would hurt to wait until, Monday to talk to the Dr again.

    My regular OB/GYN's lab would take 14 business days to get this particular culture back, which is almost twice as long as I have been waiting on these to come back to the specialist.

    I wish I could just be "normal" sometimes. Ugh.

    as soon as implantation occurs you will test positive.  Implantation happens between days 7-10 dpo.  GL with everything!
