I'm sure it's fine.....he prob told her he was sorry and would never do it again.....(scoff).

I hate that a lot of little girls and boys look up to them as role models..or at least "did" and prob still will.

I'm so disappointed in her.  There are some things that just are.not.forgivable.  I don't care how much I used to love someone -- if he threatened to kill me, beat me up and left me for dead, there wouldn't be enough sorrys in the world to get me to go back.

Outside of the fact that she's a role model, she must have no self-respect and that's just sad.

The thing that actually surprises me the most is not that she would want to go back to him but that her people/management/ handlers/whatever they are called would allow it. There is such a pressure on young celebrities to be role-models that they are usually steered into making the right choice even if they would otherwise make a bad choice on their own.

I'm going to be serious for a moment. I've said it before and I'll say it again-- I've seen that situation firsthand, lived in it and volunteered at a crisis center. I know how hard it can be. I don't agree with her choice if this is all true; but it's not always the easy thing to walk away from a situation or someone you care about even when they are beating the *** out of you or threatening you. I refuse to put up with that type of thing but I cannot judge someone else who does. I really do hope they both get help though.

I totally agree.  I would never put up with that sort of violence.  Battered Woman (Spouse) Syndrome is a psychological condition.  It goes along with people who are abused thinking the abuse is their fault.
