I don;t know how to page? sorry, Im still a little new.

I ab about 6 DPO right now. They gave me Solodyn ... 1x a day for 14 days..

I tried to call my OB but their office was closed. And I asked the nurse at the specialists office but he was already gone for the day. She said she would ask first thing on monday and I could go ahead and start taking it for now if it was too early to test?

I probably wouldn't be scared if I hadnt been through almost this exact same scenario during the mc.

Solodyn is not safe in pregnancy. Basically they said that if you did conceive this month and have not implanted yet then yes it would be ok. But, we can't tell exactly when implantation occurs. If it were me, I'd ask for a safer alternative. Hard to say whether these 3 days will have any harm you know.

Safer alternative is zithromax (azithromycin) it has activity against ureaplasm.

Definitely talk to your md. Have him/her paged if necessary.

thanks for checking. I will have to wait until monday i guess. I am pretty sure there isnt implanting yet, but i would guess it would be between now and monday.

I think i cant take the zithro as I am allergic to sulfa, maybe I an thinking about something else.

I also already took doxycycline the last time they said I had urea. That is the same month I had the mc. they keep telling the 2 things are unrelated. I just don't believe it.

you can have zithromax if you have a sulfa allergy.you must be thinking of another drug.

also, if you already used the solodyne last time for the same infection, the urea may be now resistant.  So, they should use something else anyways.

I was on Doxycycline (sp?) the last time for the ureaplasma. I have been tested monthly since then and always was negative, until now. But I have been on flagyl or tindamax every month since then for the gardnerella. And of course, immediately following that, a nice diflucan or two.
