Changing diaper size?

When did you change size? ?Did you wait for a doctors appointment to find out weight or did you just decide to try the next size? ?DD is still in newborn size but is about 1/2 lb away from the maximum limit. ?Probably a stupid question but I have lots of those!! ?Thanks ladies!!

    You should move up when they are leaving red marks or you are having blow-outs.

    whenever they don't fit!  A good indicator is when you really have to tug on the tabs to make em close.

    It was about 3.5 weeks when we switched to size 1.

    I give up trying to add my kids' photos. Just know that they are adorable.

    DS was still wearing NB past the weight limit (he must have been 11lbs or so). for some reason SIZE one was just too large for him for awhile. he was leaking through the legs. he is 7weeks now and in size one diapers. as soon as his poop started coming out of the top of his diaper (on his back) we went up a size and he hasn't leaked out of it like he used to.?

    My DD is still in newborn size also. I'm not going to go by weight. Every child is different. You will know when they are too small.

    we changed to size 1 when they NB ones just started to look too small (i.e. they didn't come up high enough). Liam was already almost 10 pounds at that point.

    We changed from Swaddlers NB to size 1 when he had 2 leaks, and 2 blowouts.  We figured NB was too small.  DS is 11 lbs now.
