anyone else have a SUPER clingy 2 year old?

She is usually so independent! S has been so needy lately...I've noticed it since co and B left on sunday. she had so much fun with B. I think she just misses having a buddy around.

anyway--now she constantly wants to be picked up, carried or sitting on me.

anyone else's DC like this??

K does that sometimes.  Sometimes she is ms. super independent and needs to everything herself  and other times its I'm a baby and can't do anything myself.  All apart of being 2 I hope!

Lila isn't 2 yet, but she definitely goes through phases where she is very clingy.

Kidding?  I have 3 clingy toddlers.  They are all clingy.  Anytime I sit down they are on me. But I dont mind.  I love to cuddle and there will be a day when it will end.    K&K will be 3 in May and have always been more clingy than L but he is also rather clingy.

My DD is mostly like that.  She likes me to hold her.  She likes to be carried.  I have to put her on my back in a mei tai a lot because I just can't carry/hold her anymore.  She cries a lot in general, so if I can minimize it I do.  I know she is just high strung and that is why, so I try not to be too hard on her, but sometimes, it is really hard not to just be like, "Stop FN touching me."   I get a lot of strange looks with my kid on my back and my big belly sticking out in front.  I look like a human SUV.

Oh, how I wish he was more clingy! I would absolutely LOVE it! There will be a day when he doesn't want anything to do with me (although, I hope that day will never come). I take all that I can get now, for sure.

DS is very clingy at home. I have to be right next to him, actively playing with him 100% of the time. If not, all I hear is "Mama, sit down PLEASE" again, and again, and again. Then tears. The only times he plays by himself at home is when he is pooping. Seriously. (at least we always know when we will need to do a diaper change!)

While out - at classes, daycare, the gym, the park, playates. etc etc. he barely gives me a second look.

Yup, but DS has always been like this, so nothing new for us.

At 2 I think DS was still pretty stuck to me.
