Got my NT results!
Genetic counselor called today--down syndrome risk 1/1700, neg screen for trisomy 18.
Even better, b/c peanut would not lay properly to get the NT measurement, I had an extra long ultrasound with lots of time to watch all the kicking, squirming, and hand waving!
Confession--I did a brief scan myself the day before the official scan. My husband wasn't able to attend the NT scan, and I didn't want to have any bad news (poor or absent heartbeat). All the ER nurses got to crowd around and watch as well

ps - lol at your confession. my first pregnancy I scanned myself 2-3 times a week the first two trimesters (until I could feel her kick). I can't lie, I'm going to do it again with this one.
