How old for the Keekaroo chair?

I am so done using our Prima Papa chair just because it is impossible to clean, and I'm doing it 3 times a day (and very badly, I might add).

DS#1 has the Keekaroo but we didn't get it for him until he was after a year old.

I wish it had shoulder/chest straps on it, because I don't think our 7 month old is quite ready for just a lap belt.

How old do you think DC's should be before using it?

We have a Tripp Trap that we got for DS #1 when he was about 16 months.  It has a wooden bar (not just the strap) that you can buy to go around the waist.  I quickly googled and it is similar to to the Keekaroo Baby Grab Rail.  We've been using it with DS #2 since he was about 7 months.

Hey! Have you seen the infant insert? It is on their site, looks like a bumbo.  I would think that it would work soon for B with that helping to give him support. 

How are you doing? I saw about your knee, that sucks and hope it is on the mend! I am in orlando until tomorrow, and crazy next week with a trip to NY, but pretty free after that so let me know when you guys are good to get together.
