We just got past the stomach flu at our house. ?Yuck! ?Our pedi said DO NOT give juice because it will cause diarrhea. ?Only Pedialyte, diluated Gatorade or water and only a teaspoon every ten minutes or so. ?Not too much at one time. ?I hope you all feel better soon! ?Unfortunately, we ALL got it at our house... it is so contagious
Pedialyte is better, but my DD hates it with a passion so we do dilluted Gatorade. Somehow she can even tell the unflavored pedialyte is something she doesn't want.
Pedialyte has aspertame in it. I would do gatorade first. but gatorade has sugar. IDK. I just do diluted juice. It doesn't seem to hurt him but who knows.

They need the electrolytes. But any fluid is better than none. DS would NOT drink it or eat the pops, He wouldn't take gatorade either. Ice chips were all he would take so we put some juice around the ice chips...but we switched to pedialyte as soon as he would take it.

Thanks. My H is gonna pick some up on his way home.
Glad you are better Anne! Too late, I already feel like hell. I'm thinking no pilates class tonight for me
yeah, juice is really bad, all the sugars.
pedialyte is best, but horrible tasting, but if your kids drink it, then good.
gatorade is better, (we mix this with pedialyte sometimes)
juice is bad.
water is worst, as it upsets the tummy
milk is a no no for stomach bugs.
Popsicles are pretty good to and the only thing Taylor would keep down.
She won't drink brand name Pedialyte, but the CVS brand has apple flavor, and she will drink that.
LOL @ preferring generic.
Noah likes watered down gatorade better.
I hope Gina feels better soon!
