Let's talk Lemons.

Myers?  or regular?

 

I personally LOVE myers lemons (or is it meyers?).   I can't wait to have a yard.    1st tree I'll plant will be Myer Lemon.   2nd tree  will be a Haas Avocado.

I, too, know nothing about lemon trees. Although I guess it does make sense that there are different kinds - like with oranges, apples, etc...  Learn something new every day!

So what are the other kinds?  And what do you like about Myers over the others?

myers' have thinner skin and generally have a "sweeter" twinge to them.  It's hard for me to explain.

Although wikipedia (the wealth of all knowledge) says they are a cross between a lemon and a mandarin orange (so the sweet thing makes sense)

Yeah, sorry, there's a blizzard outside my window right now. Lemon trees sound like a dream I may have had once...
