But I heard on the news this morning that Kaiser is not releasing the babies to the lunatic-whose-name-must-not-be-uttered because of poor living conditions.

I PPH Kaiser right now. Or at least social services and CPS

I guess that's good?  But where are they going to go?  Are they going to stay in hospital?  I'm confused (and wondering who is going to pay that bill).  I'm also wondering if that is medically legit or not.  I can sort of see that being the case with preemies, but shouldn't that really be a, say, social worker's call?

I heard that it wasn't really Kaiser's call - but they could get CPS involved and the hospital could hold the babies pending an investigation

and.... what's this crap about she was already house hunting before babies?   With what money??   And if she does have the money - why not pay toward the $24K that they are currently behind on their already soon to be foreclosed house.

As much as I cannot stand that woman for ever-growing reasons, I feel so bad for those children.  If they won't release them to her, who is going to take on 8 babies? I mean they almost can't keep them together for obvious practical reasons.  Will they split them up?  And how?  Will they keep some together?

This is tough. Bottom line is that she and her doctor shouldn't have done what they did, but you can't correct that problem.

I haven't seen anything about the babies, only her crazy ass. How are they doing? Will they have any life long health problems?
