We're doing back-to-back IUIs this month. First one was yesterday morning, and the second one was this morning. Yesterday's hurt, but today's hurt A LOT. The nurse said my cervix is "to the right." I was lying there crying while the poor thing tried to get the catheter in without scraping me too badly. Then when it was over she stood up and said, "I'm so sorry that hurt," and I just started sobbing. The chick had to go get the kleenex. I mean, by that point it was over, and I just felt cramps, but I just felt so overwhelmed with the idea of doing this month after month. It's just so, so, so not fun.

Re: IUI meltdown
Oh hun, I am so sorry you had a bad time. Maybe that will be all you need and you wont have to go there again. But if you do, maybe the next one will be different. Out of my 5, I had one like that (#3). I was shocked that there was so much pain that time - all the other times I felt nothing.

Thanks guys. I'm feeling pretty down. I'm also feeling zero hope for this cycle. Just none. I have never had that before.
Maybe it's the Clomid.?

Ok, wow, that sounds awesome.
And Baby - I'm so, so sorry it hurt so badly today. I agree with the others that I hope you don't even have to do another IUI. But if you do, hopefully it won't hurt as much. :-(
