Break cycle: love it, hate it

I officially decided to take a real break this cycle (vs. just telling myself that I am not worried about it, still have unprotected sex while ovulating). I am just too close to the official, undeniable year mark of my D+C (4/2) which makes full IF coverage available to me and with the luck I've had I'd get pg this cycle only to lose it again and have to restart the year and I just don't need that stress.

I feel good about the decision, as I am excited to get the ball rolling with treatments. But at the same time, it's hard to let it go after over a year of giving it a shot.

So  you are not TTC at all this cycle or just not charting etc?  I loved my non-TTC cycle. It was a really nice break from everything.

I am still charting so I have a few complete cycles to bring to the RE consult on March 12 so she can see that I am ovulating. But other than that...no TTC.

I also enjoyed our forced TTA cycle (in January after the D&C).  I liked it so much, it inspired me to adopt a "fuckitall" attitude for this cycle, which has been great too.  Hopefully you'll like your break as well.
