So iui ended with a clamp on my cervix, me in tears and my NP saying this just isn't normal.  Ended up with another inter-cervical insemination.  She is having me see one of the MD's tomorrow to see if there is something else in order to get the full IUI done.

I feel like I'm wasting our money and time and I HATE my body.  I feel so inadequate.

I am sorry hun Thats really sucky.  Did you have an HSG? If so did they have any problems then?

Yes and yes.  Today it was my regular NP who did the HSG.  I know she really tried everything possible.  She felt awful and so did I.

One thought - I was told that one of the reasons they want a full bladder for IVF transfers is to flatten everything out to make it easier to thread the catheter.  Maybe something simple like that would help?

They don't have gels or anything that will soften up your cervix?  Sorry it was painful and sucky
