toothpaste...

in 1st Trimester

Hey ladies, anyone else going through this????

 every time I brush my teeth I gag at the taste of the tooth paste. I like to be thorough when I am brushing...it's a pet peeve of mine.....but I find the longer I brush and keep the tooth paste flavor in my mouth the more it makes me gag....

and it's even worse when I want to brush my tongue before I rinse.

    Whats up with all the posts?

    Try switching toothpastes until you find one that doesn't make you gag. Don't brush the back of your tongue, just brush back as far as you can stand it. I gag every time I brush my tongue but I can't not do it.

    This happened to me for the first time this morning.. I ended up dry heaving which was neat. I'm not sure what to suggest, though. Maybe a different flavor paste or less of it? GL!

    I have heard that a children's sized toothbrush can help with this.  Don't know from personal experience though since I haven't had this happen yet.
