My quick story is that we ttc'd for three years. ?We found out through IVF that we make seriously crappy embryos, the RE even asked me if I lived on or near a toxic dump! ?I started thinking about adoption about a year and a half ago and have tons of info from the local agencies in my desk but promised DH not to bring them out until we were totally done with ttc. ?

We are going to workshops with two different agencies in the next few months and I just ordered four books(lol) on adoption. ?We do need to get our finances in order since we paid out so much during the past year and a half with fertility treatments so it will be a while before we officially start anything because there is only so much debt I can handle at one time.

That's that in a nutshell! ?I am looking forward to reading all of your stories so that when the time comes for us to get the ball rolling I will have a better idea of what to expect.?

Welcome! ?THere are people on this board in all stages of the process. ?There are even some adoptees and birth mothers on this board. ?I think you will find the group to be very supportive.
